It has taken us 6 months to finally play our Single Championship. But to get the Championship played, we have to thank Roger Scott, who allowed us to be able to use carts so we could finalise our Championship. We had to use a tough rule by stating that if any Cart or Scooter drove into the rough they would be Disqualified from the days event. And it worked.
We had 3 events playing today, they were the Final round of the Championship, the days event, and a Single Stableford.
We will do the Championship first, Gross Winner and Club Champion was Alan Hubbard, with a gross score of 313. Runnerup was Michael Kemp with a score of 318. B Grade Winner was Kevin Trinne with a score of 352. Runnerup was Ken Mount with 357. C Grade Winner was Greg Morrison with a total score of 384, and Runnerup was Darren Hubery with 390.
Nett winners were, A Grade , Terry Foster with 290,and Runnerup was Jared Brown with 303. B Grade Winner Owen McCallum 298 on countback, Runnerup was Les Browning with 298. C Grade Winner was Tony Waller with 297, and Runnerup was Perc Dempsey with 298.

Today’s Stableford event Winner was John McLoughlan 37pts c/b, Runnerup David Harrod 37pts.
