How lucky were we to get all our Clubs Xmas Events done and dusted before Wednesday’s little rain event!
we played a Canadian 2 stroke last Thursday , thanks to Rodger we were able to play, the winners on the day were : Pat Hodda and Kaye Mills with 73.75 on a countback from Daphne Andersen and Thelma Roffey.
Trophy Donor for this event was Rodger Scott our Green Keeper all four ladies won a Xmas Ham!!
All players received a golf ball so no rundown. There were many other prizes : NTPs , nearest the Xmas Tree, Nearest the Wavy Line, all in 2 divisions. Most of these prizes were donated by our generous members.

We gave out all the Annual Special Event Prizes details of these will be on the Notice Board and in our welcome back newsletter also the info for you to explain the events you can enter for 2025.
Our Breakup day went pretty smoothly , a shot gun start then a lovely Buffet Xmas Lunch provided by Barry and Sharon with Xmas sweets from our generous ladies.
We finished the day with our monster Xmas Raffle, 7 small hams, Barry’s hidden gift and at least 20 Xmas hampers , a big thankyou to all the ladies who support our club and a special THANKYOU to all those people who just jump in and do things that need to be done! Our committee ladies and our computer ladies .
We have certainly had a difficult year with the weather and so many games missed, so heres hoping for a drier 2025.
Thanks to Barry and his team for their help and support all year, Thanks to Club Banora Golf Committee for their support and thanks to Rodger and his team for letting us out on the course whenever possible while they seem to have been battling the weather all year! One step forward and two steps back all year!!
