Ladies Golf 29/07/21

We had a very successful day for our Pink Lady Day with 40 of our ladies all wearing something pink a shirt, hat, shorts socks, wigs scarves it was a very colourful day.

It was a fun day with three scores to count out of four.

The Pink Lady Trophy was donated by Pauline Ryan and the winners were Pauline Ryan, Allison Blair, Pat Hodda and Kaye Mills 33 c/b

LADIES GOLF

Ladies as we did not play our medal round on Thursday we have moved it to next Thursday 22/07/21 I am sorry for the inconvenience but we do not have any more spare days for the next six weeks we will play in the order that is on the computer not in grades

In the coming weeks we will have the Pink Lady Day 29th July so look in the cupboard for your pink shirts, The Keno Ambrose Day 12th August then the Foursomes on the 19th August entries will open next thursday for this event.

Hopefully the rain gods will stay away next Thursday to get our Medal Round played.

Well we managed to get our golf in without any rain showers and we had some very good scores.

We played a 2 person Ambrose today and the Winners were Denise F Culpitt and. Dott Gronn with 68 1/2. R/up. Janet Haddrick and Pauline Benny with 69 3/4 NTP. Hole. 7. Pauline Ryan. Pro pin Colleen. Kelly. $34

Rundown went to 78 1/4 All. In

Next week will be a. Medal. Round just remember to sign your card I do not like to disqualify anybody so play well

Due to Queensland been on Shut Down until Friday and the weather forecast Medal Round will be cancelled on Thursday and a single Stableford will be played weather permitting.

I woke this morning to hear rain coming down my heart sank because this was the Captains versus. Vice. Presidents’ Day and we had every thing organised for our BBQ thankfully the rain stopped and we were able to proceed with our day.

All games were fiercely contested most going to the 18th hole to get a result.

I would like to say a big thank you to Barry McFadden. John Edwards and Ken. Mount for being our CHEFFS to cook our BBQ they did a magnificent job also thank you to our ladies for making the delicious slices.

Ladies. Golf. 10/6/2

We arrived at golf this morning to see the course covered in frost, what a sight this is the first time I have seen this spectacular in 15 years . The sun was shining but a very biting wind coming from the mountains seemed to chill you right through.

We played a 4BBB versus par and had some very good scores regardless of the weather.

Well the Championships are over for another year thank goodness. We had an exciting finish for Div 3 with a 3 way playoff between Marlene Wyatt, Coral Rasmussen and Doreen Rankine, results as follows:-
