Why waste a good Wednesday at work when you could be golfing.
A good field today and the competition was pretty hot, thankfully the weather wasn’t. We had a bit of a breeze around in the afternoon that kept the temperature down and made one think about what to play.
Our winners were Steve Wilko and Steve Evans, 45 points, from Kev Tooley and Rod Jackson also 45 points. The run down went to 41 points all in. Pro pin was won by Nick Davis (go the Broncos) and pin shots to Kim Hall x 2, Callum Taylor, Nick Davis, Graeme Johnson, Jim Cardoo, Owen McCallum and Terry Trevitt.
The “I only come to win the raffle” winners were Peter Malone, Terry Gosling, Tony Brown and the inevitable Wayne Muir (Raffle winner and THE MAN on Golf days)
Good to see Clint Dunn make another appearance. It’s been a while but always good to see you.
In case you wondered, the definition of a ‘gimme’ is best described as an agreement between two golfers neither of whom putt well.
Hit it hard and hope you find it.
