“Beauty and the Beast” Sponsored by Al & Lyn Simpson. What a day!!! The concept …Ladies vs Gentlemen. How you ask??? Run a single Stableford, add all the single scores together and see which of the genders is the winning team. I hear cries of its not fair…men are bigger hitters, ladies have bigger handicaps…..REMEMBER we are all handicapped the same and as such we are all EQUAL! What a great reminder heading into the MEDLEY games on a Sunday.

Thank you to all who donated a prize for our Tombola raffle, it was a long-drawn-out raffle, but we got there in the end. We had a couple of funny comps running while we were enjoying our grazing platters and waiting for the groups to come in. Our putting comp was WTA, 6 balls for a dollar and the person with the most points wins! Congrats to Keith and Ken on coming up with a draw, they decided to share the massive winnings. The next comp was “GUESS HOW MANY BALLS IN THE BUCKET!” it was a huge success and came down to the wire…Well done Judy Mount for guessing 10! and winning not only the 10 balls, new tees and a golf towel.
