What a great day for golf. Today we were greeted with partly clouded skies, and a couple of light drizzle patches, but just right for golf. 70 players graced the lush Banora Point fairways. Today we tried something different as we had a 2 Ball Aggregate Stableford as well as a Single Stableford in conjunction. This a very easy game to score, as it is 2 players playing Single Stableford and adding their Stableford points together, and if you were in a group of 3, then the Lowest handicapper swings with both other players.
Winners of the 2ball Aggregate were, Ash Schroeder & Mark Jessop 74pts, Runners up Wayne Muir & Dean Love 66pts c/b.
Ball rundown went to 59pts.
NTP’S Division 1 2nd Nigel Luxton, 7th Dean Love, 12th Danny Minogue, 16th Kevin Haddrick. Division 2 2nd Charles Huff, 7th John Mason, 12th Peter Wazlawek, 16th Peter Hulett
PRO PIN Danny Minogue $61.00
Winners of the Single Stableford Division 1 Ash Schroeder (16) 39pts, Runnerup Ray Mills (9) 35pts c/b. Division 2 Darren Hubery (21) 38pts, Runnerup Brian Britton (27) 37pts.
Ball rundown 33pts.
Bazza’s Birdie Blitz was won by Brian Britton $20 Pro Shop Voucher.

Joke of the day.
Bob, a 65 year old, extremely wealthy widower, shows up at the Country Club with a breathtakingly beautiful 25 year old blonde. She hangs onto Bob’s arm and listens intently to his every word. His buddies at the Club are all aghast. At the very first chance, they cornered him and ask, “Bob, how did you get the Trophy Girlfriend?” Bob replies, “Girlfriend? She’s my wife!” They are amazed, but continue to inquire. “So, how did you persuade her to marry you?” “I lied about my age,” Bob replied. “What, did you tell her you were only 50?” Bob smiles and say’s, “No, I told her I was 90.”
