Got bad news today that we lost a former member of Club Banora Golf Club in Tommy Maye. Tommy passed on August 15 and a celebration of his life in a private ceremony was on August 22. Tommy was a long time member of the golf club, before moving over to Chinderah golf club. He will be sadly missed by his friends at both clubs.

What great bloke Tommy, always found him to be a Gentle Man. Did some great charity work. Will be missed. R.I.P. mate.
Agreed Tom was one of nature’s gentlemen. Tom was a foundation member at Club Banora and in 2015 was recognised by the Golf Club for 30 years service. Tom was the member any club would want to have. Tom’s name did not regularly appear in the Prize Ledger but he was there every week participating in the competition. Lots of respect. Past President Ken
