MENS GOLF SATURDAY 12/11/22

Another great day for a game, although a bit windy. The wind didn’t seem to bother some of the players with terrific scores being recorded. Seven players broke their handicap, with another four playing to it.

Next Saturday you have a choice, do you want to continue playing the Championship, or do you want to play a Single Stableford event. If you decide to play Stableford, when you pay your comp fee, tell Barry or Tim that you want to play Stableford. If you don’t tell them you are playing STROKE.

We had a good field of 91 players today, and the winners were.

Division 1. Terry Foster (10) 66. Runnerup David Wallis (11) 67.

Division 2. Mark James (18) 66. Runnerup Nigel Luxton (16) 68.

Division 3. Stephen Robinson (22) 65. Runnerup Max Jessop (22) 69.

Joke of the day.

“You’re late teeing off, Bill.” “Yeah, well it being Sunday, I had to toss a coin to see whether I should go to church or come to golf.” “But why so late?” “Well, I had to toss it twelve times.”

Hit em long and hit em straight.
