Wednesday 1st May Men’s 4 Ball Stableford Aggregate

92 starters for an aggregate 4 ball Stableford on what turned out to be a blustery day. A two-club gentle breeze for the afternoon
players. We put on the wind for the three visitors who played.

Winners were Robert Sheppard and Des Scott (72 points) from John McLoughlin and the Prez, Brent McLennan (71 points). See John if you carry me around long enough, we’ll eventually win something.

Run down went to 64 points. It was tough out there.

Pin shots

2nd – Robert Sheppard and Graham Lutton

7th – Trent Woodward and Graeme Johnson

12th – Peter McCray and Kev Trinne

16th – Nimai Strickland and Gary Roach

The Pro pin of $73 went to Nimai Strickland.

The all-important raffles went to Patrick Hayes x 1, Perce Dempsey x 1 and the Prez x 3. (A good day out)

You can hit a 1-hectare fairway 10% of the time but a 5-centre meter branch 90% of the time.

Golf is the only sport that lets you drink and drive legally
