As the first 2 rounds have been washed out there is no 3rd round and we move straight to the final. This will be an Eisenhower Cup event where the teams in each division will play at the same course and the best 5 of 7 players nett stroke will decide the winner of the Pennant. Division 1 will be best of 4of 5 players stroke gross.
I am planning on Pennant finals this week. The forecast looks pretty good, which 6 days out could mean anything. If we have issues we can then go to the following Sunday the 2nd June. I do not want to wait till the 2nd June now as the unpredictable weather could cause issues and then rescheduling would not be possible.
I will monitor weather and course availability. I am hoping to use the clubs scheduled for the 3rd round/26th May. It may be tricky with travel and no home course advantage but preliminary allocation does not look too bad.
