Finally we had a rain free day , getting a bit warmer , very pleasant golf conditions! We played our Pink Lady Fundraiser day! A very successful day , great to see everyone getting into the spirit of the day and wearing Pink. With our donation box and our Pink raffle ( all prizes donated by our hardworking committee) we raised $340 for the cancer clinic at The Tweed Hospital.
The winners of the Pink Ball Competition were Colleen Kelly, Glenda Ballard,Marilyn Berryman and Yvonne Morisson.
The main event of the day was the Team of Four Best Three to Count. The winners were: Denise M Culpitt, Denise Melling, Marlene Wyatt and Pauline Benny with 118 points. The Runners up were : Coral Rasmussen, Alison Blair, Chris Mills and Mary Swanson with 112 points.
Two teams in the rundown : Pat Hodda, Kaye Mills, Pauline Ryan and Peggy Williams with 107 points. Colleen Kelly, Marilyn Berryman, Glenda Ballard and Yvonne Morisson with 105 points.
NTP’s were won by Pauline Benny, Lilian Simpson and Helen Evans with their playing partners all receiving a ball. The Pro Pin was won by Pat Hodda $35 .
