Another fine day , not much of a weekend to follow it ! We were lucky for a change and we did need some rain.
We played a fourball stableford this week with a field of 34 players. And followed it up with our annual Tombola day. Funds raised from this go towards our end of year festivities- thanks to everyone for their contributions 👏👏
Results : Winners were Dorothy Biggs and Lilian Simpson with 49 points. Runners up were Glenda Ballard and Yvonne Morrison with 48 points. There were 9 teams in the rundown . NTP winners were: Kaye Mills, Thelma Roffey, Alison Blair, Yvonne Morrison, Kaye Mills, and Desleigh Dobney with Thelma Roffey winning the Pro Pin. We were able to be very generous with the rundown because we had trophy donors.
Next week we have our annual OBE day this group is getting bigger every year!! 🤩 we have a large group playing and several retired OBEs also joining us for coffee and cake . Could all the OBEs wear pink please .
