We played our Foursomes Championships today 27 holes all over in one day!! Only 30 players which was disappointing , sorry for those who couldn’t play today when we’ve missed out on so much golf over the last 2 and a half years .
The winners of the best Gross over 27 holes were Kaye Mills and Pat Hodda with 135, The Runners up were Myra Biggar and Judy Mount with 152 .
The winners of the Best Nett were Diane Hughes and Nancy Douglas with 111. The Runners Up were Denise M Culpitt and Denise Melling with 115.
The ball rundown went to Lillian Simpson and Marilyn Burns 116.25, Glenda Ballard and Colleen Kelly 119.75. Pauline Benny and Janet Haddrick 120.75. Chris Mills and Yvonne Morrison 121. Doreen Rankine and Lyn Simpson 121.50. and Peggy Williams and Marilyn Berryman with 121.50.
Thanks to Barry and his team for an excellent lunch of gourmet sandwiches and hot chips , also thanks to Barry and Ken for their efforts preparing our cards and trying to get it all up and running on the new computer system ( it didn’t like 27 holes)
Thanks to Roger for preparing the course for us ,he has a lot of projects on the go ,he hopes to have the 16 th ready for us next Thursday!!

Next week is our Tombola day I wont be there, Grandparents Day took precedence I missed the last two because of border closures!!😷 so i hope you find lots of bargains.
Thanks again to all our helpers, this was my first major event as Captain so I doubly appreciate everyones help and the work that has been done by all the previous Committees to create such streamlined systems!!🤩
