Honour Board event 21 August, the 2022 Mixed Foursomes. A flagship day with eleven teams in each of the two Divisions. The mixture of sun and a light cool breeze at times, allowed golfers basic favourable playing conditions. Great hospitality in the Island House value added to the day. Well done to Barry and the crew for their contribution from competition start to post presentation.
The Island House was full as partners reviewed the day’s performance.
Congratulations to 2022 Mixed Foursome Club Champions, Kerrie Campbell & Garry Dowding, comfortable 3 stroke winners.
Well done to Division 1 Gross Runners Up, Katrina & Brian Springfield who also played good golf.
Colleen Kelly & Patrick Tregellas played well against their team handicap and were Division 1 Nett winners in a very close Nett competition.
Great outcome for Myra Biggar & Brendon Willoughby who were one stroke back as Nett Runner Up.
Denise Melling & Kev Trinne player great team golf and were easy seven stroke Gross winners of Division 2 – Congratulations on a dominate win.
Well done also to Division 2 Gross Runners Up Marilyn & Brian Brown, great effort in a close competition for runner up.
Mary & Dan Minogue were one stroke back in Gross and easy winners of Division 2 Nett, nice play, well done.
Marlene Wyatt & Ken Culpitt were also one stroke back of Gross Runner Up and took home the Division 2 Nett Runner Up, congratulations.
Congratulations again to all trophy winners and those in the run down but there is little doubt that Presentation atmosphere made sure everyone who enjoyed the day was a winner.
Overall management of the day was a great team under Rosie’s leadership.
