Played taking the gross score on every hole.
Eagle = 5 points
Birdie = 4 points
Par = 3 points
Bogey = 2 points
Double bogey = 1 point.
Triple bogey or worse = 0 points.
Points over the 18 holes are tallied then the players daily handicap is added to the total score.
E.g Total points 23, Handicap 30, Score = 53pts.
Winner is the player with the most points.
Essentially this comp is a modified stableford. This information will be in the Pro Shop the day of competition, on the A Frame board before heading to the first tee as well as a copy being given to every group. I assure all members that I am making all the information available and as easy as possible. Worst case, I am ALWAYS available AFTER my round and when the afternoon field comes in from their rounds.
