Club Banora Golf Club Men’s Single Championship 2023 Conditions of Play.
- The championship is held over 4 rounds of STROKE play (72 holes) off the Blue Tees on the 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd of September 2023.
- To be eligible for the Championship you must be a current financial member of Club Banora Golf Club and have had played a minimum of 5 rounds of Single competition golf (Stroke, Stableford or Par) during 2023.
- Normal competition fee to be paid each round of the competition.
- The grade in which you compete will be determined by the Daily Handicap at the start of the FIRST round. A Grade: 0-12 B Grade: 13-19 C Grade: 20-36. Handicaps will remain unchanged for the 4 rounds.
- A, B and C Grade Champion will be awarded to the LOWEST accumulative GROSS score over the 72 holes. Only ONE major Trophy can be won for the Championship. This does not include Daily Events or NTP’s.
- A daily event will be held in conjunction with the “Championships” for the best nett, runner-up and third in each of the four rounds off normal handicaps.
- In the event of a TIE for Gross in any Grade, a sudden death PLAYOFF will be played after the last card has been returned and checked. Any PLAYOFF will be over holes 1 and 18 continuously until a winner is known. Eligible contenders MUST be available for any PLAYOFF as advised by the Match Committee on the final day.
- Motorised buggies may be used if PERMITTED on the course.
- In the event of the course becoming unplayable, The Match Committee has the right to programme another day, suspend play, or cancel that particular round. The “Match Committee’s” decision is final at all times.
- Club Banora Golf Club general conditions of play apply during the Championship.
