What a great day , perfect weather, good friends, golf , food and drinks, sweeps and raffles. We played a Medley Fourball , so everyone was welcome to play ! We had generous trophy donors – Mens Golf 👏👏 with winners , runners up and second runners up. Ladies Golf 👏👏 sponsored the 6 nearest the pins and two long drives! And a $50 Xmas Hamper for the raffle.

Runners up : Daphne Andersen and Pauline Benny 42 points
2nd Runners up : Louise Carpenter and Wayne Muir with 42 points.
Everyone in the rundown got a ball.

Thanks to Rodger for having the course open and allowing buggies on , it was still pretty wet first thing in the morning, but improved as the day went on.

Thursday Golf results
Another good day it is definitely getting warmer , very summery today! We played a two person Ambrose today always a lot of fun apart from worrying about getting your drives in!!
Marlene our Veterans Rep advises that our annual fees are due and she will be collecting next week: $7 and $12 for new members.
Some of you will remember Ian Grimsey , he was our first green keeper , he passed away in August .
Not long now till Xmas Party time! 🎄 5 Thursdays to go🤣🤣🤣 we will be collecting for our raffles soon, making plans for next year and organising our 40 th Anniversary Parties.
Now to todays game: we played a 2 person Ambrose – 32 players. The winners were Marlene Wyatt and Pauline Benny with 69.50 , the Runners up were Colleen Kelly and Nancy Douglas with 75.50 . In the rundown we had Marilyn Burns and Lilian Simpson with 74.25 , Kaye Mills and June McFadden with 75, Judy Mount and Alison Blair with 75.5, Marilyn Brown and Christine Waghorn with 76.50, Desley Harrington and Glenda Ballard with 76.75 and Denise M Culpitt and Denise Melling with 77.25.
