The weather looked real average first up but it improved to be a good day, the southerly wind was still a good two clubs for the afternoon group. The field was down with only 72 players.
Scores for the day were down on what we have been seeing as players might not have wanted to see strokes coming off their handicaps prior to Saturdays Monthly Medal/ Medal of Medals and also qualifying for the Matchplay (top 16 scorers).
On a housekeeping matter, we have two matters we would like highlight,
- Whilst the fairways and teed have been in good condition, we are starting to see a number of divots not been filled in (most likely social players) so if you see any please fill in with sand, that would be appreciated and will maintain the course in good condition.
- Please don’t drive your buggies within 15 metres of the green
Now to the golf results, as mentioned we had a field of 72 players

One reply on “Men’s Golf Wednesday 3rd February”
When work was carried on the greens, they were left in perfect condition, they really looked good.
So it was disappointing at last Monday’s Vets comp, to see weeds coming through the greens, and giving them that neglected look?
How about some attention to the greens before it goes too far?
And that white paint in the holes? really guys, those Korellas don’t attack “all” of the holes, white paint getting over all of our gear is a sloppy solution.
