What a great day to finish of our year! No sign of rain everyone was there that could possibly make it including our retired friends! The course was looking great, with our Xmas tree and curvy line flowers in the sand and no mowers!! Our golf game went smoothly , shotgun start everyone on time nice quick fun game! Then it was time to party! A lovely lunch thankyou Sharon!Plenty to drink served by Barry and Russ, thankyou for looking after us , a lovely choice of sweets – thankyou ladies. Presentation of the days prizes followed by presentations of our annual special events and finishing of with our super raffles!! I hope everyone enjoyed their day a lot of work behind the scenes by a lot of people.
The winners were Chris Mills and Alison Blair 66 points . Runners up were Mary Swanson and Daphne Andersen with 68 points everyone received a ball so no rundown! Nearest the Xmas tree was won by Vivienne Sulejmani and Thelma Roffey. Nearest the Curvy Line was won by Vivienne Sulejmani and Marlene Wyatt.
