After a welcome break in the weather, players returned to the course and produced some impressive scoring across both divisions. Conditions were ideal for scoring, with several competitors taking full advantage and plenty of players featuring in the ball rundown.
Ryan Modini (HC 5) claimed Division 1 honours with an excellent 36 points, edging out Cem Okan (HC 13) on a countback after both players finished on the same score. Ryan’s consistent play throughout the round proved enough to secure the winner’s voucher, while Cem’s strong performance earned the runner-up prize.
Division 2 belonged to Vince Robshaw (HC 30), who produced the score of the day with a fantastic 43 points. Wayne Muir (HC 23) also enjoyed a terrific outing, finishing runner-up with 41 points. Both players were well clear of the field after outstanding performances.
