DO IT FOR JARROD LYLE 4Person Ambrose Sat 11th Oct

Tomorrow marks the annaul charity event the Men’s golf play once a year for do it for Jarrod Lyle day.

Jarrod Lyle was a lifelong ambassador for Challenge. With his passing, Jarrod’s gift to Challenge was his wish to raise ongoing funds to support children and families living with cancer.

We have lots of prizes to give out tomorrow and a guessing game at the bar, Guess how many yellow bananas are in the jar. A gold coin donation gets you 1 guess. The prize being a Jarrod Lyle cap and a much sort after golf towel.

All of the proceeds from the Saturday raffle will go directly to the Jarrod Lyle charity.

If you have something in your wardrobe that’s yellow, please wear it for Jarrod tomorrow or anything bright and out there would be more than acceptable.

Tomorrow is all about fun. No limit on drives.

If you can, any donation would be much appreciated and its going to a great cause.

Ladies golf results and news Thursday 2nd October

Another sunny day getting warmer all the time, Summer is definitely on the way and so is daylight savings . Starting this Saturday Night!

This week our club is in the midst of the changeover from Golf Link to Golf Connect, with only single games and no handicapping! We were excited to come out today and find that part of the changeover had happened and we all seemed to have new handicaps , most players getting at least one shot back, so there were some good scores . I am sure you will be disappointed to learn that our cards aren’t able to be processed today and when everything is finished being updated it will not accept backdated cards . So back into it next week.

On the 9th Oct we are playing a Pinehurst and on the 16 th we have our OBE Day which will be a single stableford with our OBE’s being treated to coffee and cake( there will be plenty of cake for everyone!!🍰🍰🍰🍰

We played a Single Stableford today with lots of good scores!
The winner today was Pauline Ryan with 40 points. Runner up with 39 points was Denise Melling .
Rundown :Alison Blair 39, Helen Evans 38, Vivienne Sulejmani 38, Myra Bigger 38, Pauline Benny38, Liz Edwards37, Marlene Wyatt 37, Peggy Williams 36, Pat Hodda 35, Maren Cooper 35 and Diane Hughes 35.
NTP’s : Div1 7th, Denise Fay Culpitt, Div2, Diane Hughes. Div 1 16 th , Vivienne Sulejmani , Div 2 Glenda Ballard. ProPin was won by Alison Blair $26 .
