Wednesday Stableford – 30 September 2026
Points Bonanza!
Another Wednesday done and dusted, and there were some very good scores on the board to see out September. Michael McKay led the way with 41 points, while Division 2 was a close affair with both the winner and runner-up finishing on 38.
Before we get into all the results, a big shout-out to Big Wayne Muir — or Little Wayne now! — who’s going under the knife this week.
Our thoughts are with you, Wayne. Take your time, put the feet up and make sure you rest and recover properly. Don’t worry about us — we’ve got it covered here! We look forward to seeing you back when you’re ready.

Please Check Those Scorecards!
A little housekeeping after Wednesday…
Please, please, please make sure when you’re filling in your playing partner’s card that the crosses you enter correspond with the written score on the scorecard.
If the computer tells you that you’ve finished with 34 points, but the actual signed card in your hand says 37 points, that should probably ring a few alarm bells that something has gone wrong SOMEWHERE?! 😂
And Wednesday provided us with an absolute beauty.
One lucky player had a 5 written on the scorecard but managed to tick 1 in the crosses.
Now, I’m going to assume this was completely legitimate and they simply pulled out the driver, launched one off the tee, bounced it beautifully over the gravel bridge, watched it roll all the way up the fairway and then PLONK — straight into the hole for a hole-in-one! 😂
If that’s what happened, congratulations — although I’m slightly disappointed nobody witnessed one of the greatest shots in Club Banora history!
Otherwise… we might have just ticked the wrong box.
So please take those extra few seconds to check the written scores against the crosses, make sure the total looks right and confirm everything is correct before pressing SAVE.
It’ll save a lot of head-scratching and detective work afterwards!
Thanks everyone, and we’ll see you next Wednesday.
Captain Patrick
