Men’s Captain

  1. Was so fortunate to play in the 4 with David today. Small talk pre first tee drive created no unusual expectation for a 27 HC player. In action, his drive was comparable in length and accuracy to playing partner and well respected single figure member, Ray Mills.

David’s second shot was equably surburb and within 132M of the centre green pin. It is well known that his next iron strike rolled to the hole.

Ray called it first and all but David saw the ball disapper.

The Captain formally recorded an eagle, some of us lesser golfers with two shots on hole One might argue that 3 a 6 Stabbleford coud be called albatross.

David celebrated fairway strike to hole.
Great playing with you and well done.
