The annual Beauty vs. Beast Golf Challenge is officially balanced on a razor’s edge. With the ladies winning the inaugural year and the men storming back to secure victories two years in a row, the stakes have never been higher for this Single Stableford showdown at Club Banora Golf Club. All members are welcome come and see what makes Sunday fun days. Get your Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday mates together and we will see you on Sunday 11th October. Check out the flyers around the club house.
Sponsored by the legendary Al and Lyn Simpson, this tournament is about bragging rights, competitive spirit, and the unpredictable nature of Single Stableford scoring.
The burning question on everyone’s mind at the clubhouse is: Will the “Beasts” make it a hat-trick, or can the “Beauties” stage a fierce comeback to level the historic playing field?
The Novelty Challenges: Fortune Favours the Brave
It isn’t just about the main trophy; there are plenty of side quests to conquer out on the course. If you’ve got a gold coin and enough courage to opt in for the Pro Pin or keep your eyes on these target holes:
Head-to-Head Comparison
| Dimension | The Beauties (Ladies) | The Beasts (Men) |
|---|---|---|
| Current Momentum | Hungry for a comeback | Riding a 2-year winning streak |
| Stableford Strategy | High consistency, fairway-finding precision | Aggressive pin-seeking, chasing high-point birdies |
| Historical Record | 1 Win (Year 1) | 2 Wins (Years 2 & 3) |
| X-Factor | Playing under less pressure as the challengers | Pressure to defend the crown and achieve a hat-trick |
The Verdict
Predicting a Single Stableford format is always a gamble—one lucky bounce or a hot putter can completely flip a scorecard. However, golf history tells us that momentum eventually shifts.
With the men feeling the immense pressure of defending a hat-trick and the ladies returning to the consistent, calculated course management that won them the inaugural event, the smart money is on the Beauties to break the streak and claim the next title!
No matter who lifts the trophy, a massive shoutout must go to Al and Lyn Simpson for continuing to sponsor an incredible event that brings the club together for a fantastic weekend of rivalry and banter.
