We were lucky to get through our Championships after a couple of false starts. We actually had 3 lovely days and the course continued to dry out and look better all the time.
Sadly we ended up with a very small field which was disappointing as quite a lot of work and expense go into organising such an event — we can’t control the weather , we could have waited till later in the year and had the same thing happen again.
Many thanks to everyone involved , our lovely hard working committee, our computer/numbers people , our greens staff and Barry and his team.
